Hey John-boy; did you lock the keys in the car, again?
"I wish!"

Judy and I attended the 30th Annual WaveCrest, Woodie Car Show at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, CA. Awesome cars, tons of the 'California Beach Culture thing' and Beach Boys sounds bouncing around in our heads. IT WAS WAY TOO COOL!
Take care, Jd & Judy/SD

Judy bought a bunch of new Easter decorations the other day. Some how the old stuff got lost when we moved back from Charleston (ya, right?)

She got the baskets at the Salvation Army store for 50 cents and the big a-- bunny from Ross. In Judy's words, 'What a steal!' (I don't know where she got that ugly bunny on the left from?)

Easter 2009

HAPPY EASTER EVERY ONE!!!!! This will be our first Easter celebration back in San Diego since 2005. In 2006 Judy and I were road warriors; in 2007 & 2008 we were in Charleston, SC but this year we're back home on the other (left) coast, San Diego.

The boys will be here tomorrow for Easter Dinner with all the trimmings and we'll try to snap some pictures and float them on this blog. It's a bit easier to round-them-up for pictures now that our boys are men but all things are relative. Justin will be driving down from Culver City (LA) today. Jordan has work until about 7 PM on Easter Sunday and Jeremy is flirting with the idea of rock climbing out at Joshua Tree National Monument in the SoCal desert by the Marine Corp training grounds, Twenty-Nine Palms, CA. One way or another they'll be in town if theirs food on the table.

Take care and have a very happy Easter! Soon you'll be mowing the grass that's two-foot high in the yard and drinking ice-tea to knock back the humidity.

Still pawing through the old photo albums and digging-up tidbits. There just ain't enough hours in a day to service all these actives. I did run across this photo (circa 1989) of that trip to the Anza Borrego Desert. We were testing out the new VW Westfalia, camper van. It was a neat machine with a pop-up tent for overhead bunking, a two burn stove, refrigerator, etc. The only thing it didn't have was a potty... no problem when you got boys. (... is this learned behavior or what?!) Nothing wrong with watering a manzanita bush, though. We were just thinking green, right? #5
